Historic Firsts for The Senior Class
Historic Firsts for The Senior Class
On September 20, the cast of Albert Lea High School's "Mean Girls" musical production had a full cast practice in the auditorium. The new cast bonded together performing trust falls in front of the whole room. Sophomore Eh Snow recites her lines in front of her fellow castmates. The musical will premiere on Nov. 21, continuing through November 23, at the Albert Lea High School auditorium. This will be Mary Schoppers first time directing the fall musical.

Many club members attended the event on Monday, April 12 to celebrate the club's tile joining the wall. "I think it's a huge honor for our club," said Chalmers. "It means the world to us to have been chosen even though we are still such a young club. It shows us that our efforts have had an impact on the students and the school, and that's what our goal has been all along."

Sunflowers are blooming in southern Minnesota as people from all across the state come together, taking pictures, and witnessing the beauty. Families from all over the midwest came to Albert Lea to take pictures and share their stories on the Fish Sunflowers Facebook page. “The goal of this group is to spread sunshine and positivity," said Johnny Fish, co-founder of Fish Sunflowers.

The Hammer Complex stadium lights and score board lighting up the snowy field in support of ALHS students on Thursday, April 16.
