Frank Cacich, Special Education Teacher. “To help my students grow in their work and interpersonal skills,” said Cacich about his goals for this year. “I want to help kids be successful in what ever way they can be.” (Submitted)
Prutha Patel, Geometry Teacher. “I chose to work in a school setting because I’m committed to helping others succeed in math,” said Patel. “Ensuring that every student fully understands and feels confident in the subject is my priority. Teaching allows me to directly influence and improve their learning experience.” (Submitted)
Laurie Maskrey, Special Education Teacher. “I was working in corrections with teens who struggled in school and knew that I wanted to support them and help them be successful,” said Maskrey. “I began working as a para and returned to college to obtain my teaching license. I have been very fortunate in my career to work with amazing students, parents and school staff!” (Submitted)
John Kosmach, Social Studies Teacher. “I finally knew that teaching was the correct career path in my 4th year of teaching, while I was teaching 10th grade World History at an international school in Taiwan. My students were learning about the Industrial Revolution and one of the kids that had been having a difficult time of understanding finally had their ‘lightbulb moment’. That was when I really knew I wanted to continue to teach.” (Submitted)

Nicole Statts-Thompson, English Learners Teacher. “To give students’ the opportunity to learn through experience,” said Thompson about her goals. “I want them to gain knowledge and skills through direct involvement and reflection on real life experiences.” (Submitted)
Tena Tasker, Student Services. “I worked in the high school office when I was in my 11th and 12 grade year of school and I enjoyed working in an office setting, answering phones and interacting with the students & staff during my time there,” said Tasker about her inspiration for working in a school.
