It is a great day for Tiger sports. Senior Addison Dirkes, signed to the Gustavus Lions this morning in front of her friends, family, and school staff. Dirkes will play volleyball for the 2024-25 season. She chose Gustavus for its welcoming nature and people. 

“Obviously, the opportunity to play volleyball was a plus,” said Dirkes. “I’ve always had a passion for volleyball. I really wanted to work hard for it.” 

Many student athletes want to make it into the college level, but only a few do. Good luck to Dirkes as she makes the transition from Tiger to Lion.
