Luke Cage

Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter, was first introduced in the series “Jessica Jones” as the bartender across the street and later love interest. This season takes off after his encounters with Jones, but flashbacks are abundant in this series. To be honest, I rated this a three simply because I feel like you have to watch it after watching “Jessica Jones”. Otherwise, it’s just another dude with super strength punching stuff. Okay, it’s more than that, but it wasn’t as interesting to me as “Jessica Jones”. Cage has a sad backstory and deals with modern day problems like gang violence. Worth a watch, but maybe not a re-watch.
