Fuller House
A spinoff from the classic 80s and 90s show, “Full House”, “Fuller House” revolves around DJ Fuller’s (played by Candace Cameron-Bure) life as a widowed mother. The spinoff stars all the characters from the original, except Michelle, who was played by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
I watched the whole first and second seasons the days they came out on Netflix, so let’s just say I’m a bit of a fan. I grew up watching “Full House” reruns daily, so I was filled with joy when I read that a spinoff was in the works. Knowing that spinoffs usually aren’t as good as their predecessors, I was worried that the writers weren’t going to pull it off, but my expectations were quickly exceeded when I watched the first episode. Old jokes were brought back, personalities were familiar, and it was updated with a modern twist. The plots can be hilarious as well as serious; which targets an audience of all ages. I would recommend “Fuller House” for families, fans of “Full House” or anyone looking for a feel-good sitcom.
