Girls Swimming, Volleyball, and Girls Soccer Recap

Tonight was a great night to come out and support your Albert Lea girls sports with swimming, volleyball, and soccer all in town.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house at the girls swim meet as the senior class had their last home meet as an Albert Lea Tiger. Younger swimmers gave gift bags and blankets to the seniors as they said a few words about their teammates. Afterwards, the Tigers went right back to swimming their hearts out against the Mankato East Cougars.

In the gym, the volleyball team was taking on Mankato West in an energy-filled game. The fan section were on their feet the whole time as they cheered on our girls.

Last but certainly not least, the girls soccer team faced the Winnona Winhawks in a great game. It was a cold night to watch soccer, but seeing all the action was definitely worth it. The game ended in a 0-0 tie after two overtime periods.
