With a new school year brings lots of change. From new electives to class times, things are constantly changing. This year the ALHS Student Council decided they wanted to switch Homecoming up a bit.

 Ryan Nelson, student council vice president, said he is looking forward to seeing the school spirit at the new events.

 For several years prior the Senior Dinner Dance has been on a Wednesday. This year it was changed to Monday so that more people could attend another new addition to Homecoming: the parade.

Tuesday, tacky tourist day, brought lots of Hawaiian shirts, khakis and socks and sandals to ALHS. In previous years, Tuesday was class color day because we had a pep fest to announce the candidates for homecoming court. The pep fest was held on the Friday before to give the candidates more time to get prepared for coronation.
