Historic Firsts for The Senior Class
On September 20, the cast of Albert Lea High School's "Mean Girls" musical production had a full cast practice in the auditorium. The new cast bonded together performing trust falls in front of the whole room. Sophomore Eh Snow recites her lines in front of her fellow castmates. The musical will premiere on Nov. 21, continuing through November 23, at the Albert Lea High School auditorium. This will be Mary Schoppers first time directing the fall musical.

ALHS Knowledge Bowl Team goes to State

      The Albert Lea High School Knowledge Bowl team is competing in the state competition Thursday, April 11. Wednesday, March 20 the two teams competed in the sub-regional competition. Albert Lea Team 1 was composed of seniors Andrew Kozelsky and Mark McGivern and juniors Daniel Gould and Isabel Ehrhardt. Albert Lea Team 1 placed 6th overall that day. Albert Lea Team 2 didn’t succeed as such. The team consisted of seniors Ben Leiso, Forrest Darbo and Kessa Albright and freshman Sam Ware. They placed 34th of 40 teams.
