Today, two ALHS seniors, Megan Pulley and Karli Kriewall, both signed with Division 1 colleges.
Pulley signed with Wagner College in Staten Island, NY to play golf. Pulley has been playing golf since seventh grade. Shawn Reibe has been her coach those six years.
“Outside of school she has done so many other great things,” said Reibe, “That is a positive as well.”
Reibe said it’s always been Pulley’s goal to play for a Division 1 college. Pulley has been a varsity letterer for five years and the team’s most valuable player for the past 3. Pulley also won the city open for three years. Pulley will be studying international business.
Kriewall has been competing in diving since eighth grade. She will be attending Boise State in Idaho.
Kriewall was fifth in state her sophomore year, third in state her junior year and is competing in state again this coming weekend. Outside of diving, Kriewall is involved in chorale, student council and link crew.
“She is a kind, self-confident young woman,” said Kriewall’s mother, Ann Kriewall.
Pulley and Kriewall signed for their colleges Wednesday morning at ALHS in front of ALHS administrators, parents, coaches, and the media.
