The long hours, and hard practices are paid off. Sweat, tears, and exhaustion becomes worth it.

Saturday, January 21, 2012. Does that date mean anything to you? It’s a date this town will remember forever.

It’s the day our Albert Lea High School Dance Team (ALDT) took home third place in the Big 9 competition.  ALDT has never before placed this well in Big 9. This is history.

“We never go into a section thinking we are going to do good.” Said sophomore Sarah Anderson. “We just go out there and give it what we’ve got.”

Giving it what they’ve got is just good enough. It’s good enough to do better than ever before. Perhaps this will give the team a confidence boost needed in order to keep pushing forward. And make our school, and our town proud.
