He said she said. That’s all it is. Rumors and here say.
Recently at Albert Lea High School, students along with some staff members have been curious about backpacks. Are we students getting the privilege of using backpacks taken away? No. No we are not.
This ordeal was nothing but a rumor. And this should clear it up.
“It’s a complete rumor,” said secretary, Melissa Griffith
“And I’ve heard nothing about it,” said secretary, Jen Zoller.
Exactly how these rumors started are unknown. But whoever decided to speak of these false allegations started an uproar. Facebook status’ and Twitter updates, including a few of my own, helped express the anger of the rumor. No one wants to carry heavy books and have them possibly fall from our arms, when we can simply toss ‘em in our book bags, and worry about nothing. Hakuna Matata.
Students threatened to “not come to school,” but I think we all know that’s all talk, no walk. Let’s say the privilege was being taken away, would anyone really do anything? Just a simple question. Think about it.
Every time I heard a comment about it, I’d hear “we are one of the only schools in Minnesota that still allow the use of backpacks” So? We haven’t done anything to deserve losing our backpacks. Someone knows that, because it all proved to be little more than rumor.
